Vendor Liaison

The Role: We are a growing property management and preservation company and are looking to add an important member to our Vendor Management team. In this role, the manager will lead a group of vendors to complete work orders on time. This role involves great communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable negotiating, problem-solving and possess great follow-up skills. Candidates with exceptional phone and email communication skills will excel in this role.   • Updating work orders.
  • Assigning Work Orders to Vendors.
  • Building relationships and communicating with Vendors.
  • Maintaining a network of vendors.
  • Quality control of work done by vendors.
  • Timely closeouts on work orders.
  • Working with Vendors on pricing and approvals of the new pricing.
  • Negotiating with Vendors on pricing and timing of jobs to ensure completion.
  • Developing the daily routes for field employees.
  • Open to other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with contractors or Vendors preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills and have excellent follow-through.
  • Property Management related experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with property damages is a plus.
  • Property Preservation, REO, Cost Estimate, Xactimate, and HUD Guideline experience a plus.

Job Info: M-F 10 am - 6 pm. Work from home Fridays! Paid Lunch. Many opportunities to grow within the company. Open door policy.
