Operations Executive (ProVeg Malaysia)

Reports to: Country Director, ProVeg Malaysia Location: Greater Kuala Lumpur region / Hybrid remote
Hours: Full-time (40h/week)
Contract type: 1 year (with possibility for extension) Salary: RM 3500- 4500 per month depending on experience (based on 1.0 FTE)
responsibilities
Operational and Administrative Support (70%)
- Serve as a key communication link between stakeholders, partners, and internal team members.
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal memos, newsletters, and external press releases.
- Compile and maintain program activity and operational reports.
- Support OKR (Objectives and Key Results) tracking and summarise performance data.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and generate financial reports.
- Assist in advancing plant-based dietary policies and sustainable food initiatives.
- Support the development of partnerships with institutions, encouraging plant-based meal adoption.
- Assist in organising campaigns, events, and workshops to promote sustainable eating
qualifications
Required
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant role (business administration, business operations,
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, business administration, communications, or a reputed company field.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with performance tracking, reporting, and budgeting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient written skills in Malay.
- Passion for plant-based advocacy and sustainability.
- Ability to reputed company in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
- Prior experience in advocacy, NGOs, SDGs, ESG or food sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with OKR frameworks and financial monitoring systems.
