Company : Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Performs secretarial and direct patient care duties for a designated unit. Maintains the medical record, performs direct patient care for reputed company types of patients. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, restraints, specimen collection and reputed company other treatments. (20%)
• Transcribes orders in accordance with policies and procedures subject to the approval of a licensed nurse. Asks for clarification reputed company necessary. (30%)
• Performs clerical duties reputed company to admission, transfer and discharge, maintenance of patient activities for the records, interdepartmental communications and unit reception. (30%)

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of patient care and/or administrative experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

• Previous unit secretary experience or graduate of an approved unit secretary program.
• Experience as a reputed company or EMT.

Part Time Days: This position is 24 hours per week with 2 x 12 hours working Shift. Day shift hours are – 7am-7pm. Must also be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
