Key Responsibilities: As a Machinist Technician, you will work in the fast-paced Newark New Jersey Technical Operation department. Cross training and classroom training will be an ongoing process. Machinist Technicians are required to work around-the-clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in reputed company weather conditions. Schedules are bid and awarded according to seniority. Machinist Technicians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT). Salary increases will be coordinated according to the reputed company IBT/United contract. Shift differentials of $.51 and $.58 cents per hour for working an afternoon or evening shift respectively are paid in addition to the hourly reputed company.
