Cost/Inventory Manager (contract)

We are looking for a highly skilled reputed company Manager to join reputed company on a contract basis for a client located in Burleson, Texas. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in cost reputed company, inventory management, and financial process improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining operations, ensuring audit readiness, and delivering accurate financial reporting. This is a 6-8 week contract position. 100% REMOTE. Will only consider candidates that are local to the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Cost reputed company Manager/Inventory Manager (contract position): Responsibilities:

• Reconcile inventory balances, investigate variances, and implement strategies to enhance accuracy and transparency.
• Organize and refine historical financial records to prepare for audits and support informed decision-making.
• Create and formalize standard operating procedures (SOPs), reputed company calendars, and robust financial controls.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial initiatives and reputed company operational enhancements.
• Provide training and mentorship to reputed company the skills and effectiveness of the reputed company and finance team.
• Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to ensure financial alignment and integration.
• Proven experience managing month-end reputed company processes with strong attention to detail.
• Expertise in general ledger management and account reconciliation.
• Deep knowledge of cost reputed company and inventory systems.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and audit preparation.
• Proficiency in journal entry creation and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to train and guide team members.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments to reputed company financial goals.
