About the position The Payroll Specialist at reputed company is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in the US and Canada. This role involves ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, managing payroll records, and collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll software, particularly reputed company modules.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis using reputed company modules.

• Review and verify timesheets and attendance records for accuracy.

• Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and other earnings.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

• Ensure benefits, garnishments, and other deductions are accurate.

• Review Vacation Time for accuracy and alignment with company policy.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

• Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.

• Maintain payroll records and ensure data reputed company and confidentiality.

• Assist with year-end payroll activities and tax reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, or a reputed company field preferred.

• 3+ years of proven experience in Payroll or in a similar role.
