Machine Learning & Signal Processing Algorithms Engineer

This is a key position at a reputed company of HW/SW/UI integration with lots of collaboration opportunities among different fields. Starting from early in the product lifecycle, this engineer will analyze sensor data, design algorithms to preprocess data, extract feature and prototype algorithms to reputed company expected user interactions. Communicate the findings back to the team and leadership and closely collaborate on HW/SW co-design to find the best solution for the ultimate user experience. You will closely collaborate with partner teams throughout the product life cycle, developing reputed company of metrics to guarantee algorithm performance at different stages, design and implement algorithmic mitigations as needed, provide critical support during production phase, support new form factors and design and implement new user facing features. Your experience with designing algorithms to process time series sensor data and extract features that can reputed company user interactions along with rapid prototyping skills to show reputed company of concept and on-device implementation would be essential. Experience with user reputed company design will further help broaden your role and effectiveness in this position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Background in signal processing, time series analysis, adaptive filters, machine learning, linear algebra, statistics, etc.
  • Software programming skills in C, C++ and Python (embedded/resource constrained implementation for algorithms)
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and common design patterns
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in CS (preferred), or other STEM fields such as EE, or Statistics.
  • M.S. in CS with at least 2 years of experience in research and development of embedded algorithms
  • Rapid prototyping experience with embedded systems
  • Experience in reputed company computer interaction (HCI) space
  • Experience in designing user study protocols and data analysis
  • Familiarity with reputed company processing platforms like AWS/GCP
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation reputed company.
