Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver

Stone?s Home Centers is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Entry Level Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver. This is a full time, local position with benefits and closed on Sundays. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: ? Assisting customers in loading materials reputed company presented with a work order and unloading material upon return, and assist with unloading of vendor vehicles reputed company necessary. ? Know locations of merchandise in warehouse and lumber yard, and provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers reputed company necessary. ? Maintain and organize reputed company delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each delivery and work day. ? Inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities, and refuel vehicles as needed. ? Serves as a backup driver and transport materials using company 2-Ton and 1-Ton trucks to customer locations reputed company scheduled, and backhauling material to warehouse from locations reputed company necessary while obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Ideal candidates must: ? possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification ? possess a valid driver?s license with a clean driving record, and be proficient at driving and parking large vehicles. ? be physically fit and reputed company to lift 25 pounds comfortably, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. ? be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator with a professional and pleasant attitude to be reputed company to give a positive customer service experience. ? Experience operating hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Salary will based on experience and qualifications. Employment will be dependent upon a successful MVR review, background reputed company and pre-employment drug test.
