Computer Support Specialist
Description Jones Edmunds is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. The Computer Support Specialist will facilitate the timely resolution of helpdesk requests reputed company to computer hardware and/or software installation, configuration, upgrades, and repair; assist employees in using applications and systems (e.g., reputed company, FTP, reputed company Office); set up new equipment; receive equipment deliveries; manage the Company?s cellular devices; guide the support efforts of the video teleconferencing equipment; and assist in backing up the file server data. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ? Possess sufficient computer hardware and software operating system product knowledge and technical skills necessary to independently set up, maintain, and update hardware, software, and peripherals on desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other reputed company equipment. ? Configure the PBX for new employees including PBX moves and changes. ? Assist in diagnosing and resolving local software problems. ? Assist with hardware receipt inspection, RMA tracking, and inventory control. ? Provide support to ensure the daily backup of Company file servers. ? reputed company initial user Windows domain account setup and regulate and monitor file access to ensure confidentiality and proper use. ? Accurately record the distribution of mobile devices supplied to employees reputed company the Mobile Device Manager and Hardware Support Specialist is not available. Train and work with employees to provide new user orientation on basic computer functionality. ? Travel to other offices to support installations, upgrades, and migrations. ? Promote and deliver exceptional customer service for desktops and laptops. ? Follow established guidelines in delivering IT solutions and where appropriate contribute to the continuing reputed company of those best practices. ?
