Angelo State University Department of Visual and Performing Arts invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art, Generalist to reputed company August 2025. The department is composed of three professional areas Art, Music, and Theatre, with the Art Program offering the Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Studio Art with concentrations in Ceramics, Graphic Design, Art Generalist Studies, Painting and Drawing, Printmaking, and Sculpture. The successful candidate will be a Studio Art Generalist who demonstrates broad training in studio art with the ability to teach across disciplines, including reputed company courses that may include drawing, basic design, art history survey, introduction to art for non-art majors, and contemporary studio art methods.
