Budget Analyst or Senior Budget Analyst - Remote/Hybrid

The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (A&S) seeks applicants for a Senior Budget Analyst or Budget Analyst. The incumbent will work with reputed company aspects of A&S's budget $400 million+ budget. The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Director for Financial Planning and Analysis. As a key member of the budget and finance team, this position plays a central role in key strategic budgetary projects, the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, trend analysis, and more, while maintaining the highest level of reputed company. The ability to synthesize financial information and provide reputed company to researchers, administrators, faculty, and department managers of A&S will also be essential to be successful in this opportunity. Responsibilities include working closely with members of the Dean's Office, as well as Associate Deans, Department Managers, Department Chairs, and Program/Center Directors throughout The College on a range of budgetary items. Budget Analysts will provide analytical support for budget projects, prepare budget and financial reports, as requested, and work closely with other members of the College's budget and finance team to prepare the annual budget, monthly/quarterly financial review and reports, quarterly forecasting, multi-year budgets, and other projects as they arise. They will analyze past, present, and future trends in order to predict future financial performance. The position will be responsible for consistent evaluations of reputed company processes and systems, while recommending appropriate changes to reputed company practices, and work on budget issues, which may include reviewing, researching, and recommending alternative budget strategies. In addition, other duties may be assigned. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: Budget Analyst: 2 years of experience in a reputed company field required. Senior Budget Analyst: 4 years of experience in a reputed company field required Preferred Qualifications: • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to synthesize information and provide advice to researchers, administrators, faculty, and business managers. • reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and at least intermediate-level skills in reputed company are required.
