[Remote] EA-Data Engineer 1, Data Services

The Data Engineer I role involves executing data conversions, ensuring data hygiene, and maintaining the accuracy and structure of critical nonprofit datasets through various data manipulation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Run and monitor recurring data update and ingestion jobs
- Perform basic data editing, formatting, and normalization in SQL-based workflows
- Support the transformation of raw or external data into usable internal formats
- Assist in data validation, anomaly tracking, and issue escalation
- Document standard workflows for future execution and training
Skills
- Foundational understanding of data formats and transformations
- Ability to manipulate and edit structured datasets using SQL or spreadsheet tools
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness
- Strong willingness to learn data tools and internal processes
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, deadline-driven environment
- Experience in the nonprofit or political campaign space preferred
