Senior Construction Project Manager (Remote)

Our client, a national leader in innovative construction solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycle management, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. As a remote team member, you will leverage advanced communication and project management technologies to oversee projects across various regions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an adept problem-solver, and a strong leader capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders from a distance.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate and lead project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors, utilizing virtual collaboration tools. Conduct regular project status meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing clear and concise updates. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Identify potential project risks and challenges, developing and implementing proactive solutions. Utilize project management software and digital tools to track progress, manage documentation, and facilitate communication. Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders. Champion best practices in construction management and foster a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a substantial portion managing large-scale or complex projects. Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and virtual collaboration platforms. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations. Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders remotely. P.M.P. certification or similar professional accreditation is highly desirable.
