Position Summary – What You’ll Do

The Agency Customer Service Representative serves as the front line of support for both existing and prospective policyholders. Working in a hybrid or fully remote capacity, you will combine superior service delivery with proactive relationship building to achieve service excellence, retention targets, and new‑business growth. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients receive accurate policy information, timely renewals, and strategic guidance on coverage enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Client Interaction & Service Delivery

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance to policyholders, addressing inquiries, policy changes, and claims support.
  • Act as a trusted resource for clients, guiding them through complex insurance terminology and helping them understand coverage limits.
  • Facilitate the completion of policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with meticulous attention to detail.

Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Build and nurture strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients, brokers, and internal field agents through consistent, positive communication.

  • Identify opportunities to add supplemental coverage or upgrade existing policies, aligning solutions with client risk profiles.

Data Management & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system and ImageRight platform, guaranteeing data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze workflow patterns, recommend enhancements, and participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at streamlining operations.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and technology teams to resolve complex issues and improve the overall client experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with a track record of exceeding satisfaction metrics.

  • 2–4 years of experience in insurance, agency relations, or a customer‑facing role within a regulated industry.
  • Progress toward a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation or similar professional credential.
