Our Cloud Platform empowers organizations of every size—from nimble startups to global enterprises—to transform data into insight, automate decision‑making, and deliver experiences that were once thought impossible. With a relentless focus on security, reliability, and scalability, arenaflex delivers a full‑stack ecosystem that spans infrastructure, data services, AI/ML frameworks, and specialized hardware. As a leader in the industry, we serve customers across more than 200 countries, helping them accelerate digital transformation, drive sustainable growth, and solve their most critical business problems.
Why This Role Matters
The Customer Engineer, AI/ML, HCLS position sits at the intersection of technical expertise, strategic consulting, and sales enablement. In this role you will partner with Technical Sales teams to showcase arenaflex’s AI/ML capabilities to prospective customers in the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) sector. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, design robust cloud architectures, and guide customers through proof‑of‑concept (PoC) implementations that demonstrate the power of arenaflex’s machine‑learning solutions—including our industry‑leading arenaflex Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Qualification: Collaborate with sales and solution teams to identify high‑impact business opportunities, uncover technical objections, and craft tailored strategies that remove barriers to adoption.
- Subject‑Matter Expertise: Serve as the go‑to AI/ML authority for HCLS customers, delivering product briefings, technical deep‑dives, and solution demos that highlight arenaflex’s differentiated capabilities.
- Proof‑of‑Concept Leadership: Design, build, and execute PoCs that showcase end‑to‑end machine‑learning pipelines— from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment on arenaflex Cloud.
- Architecture Design: Recommend integration strategies, enterprise‑grade architectures, and best‑practice deployment patterns that align with customers’ regulatory, security, and performance requirements.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and the arenaflex TPU team to prioritize feature enhancements and influence the roadmap based on real‑world customer feedback.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate complex technical challenges, optimize cost structures, and adopt responsible AI practices.
- Travel & Thought Leadership: Represent arenaflex at customer sites, industry conferences, webinars, and internal knowledge‑sharing sessions to amplify our AI/ML narrative.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of experience as a pre‑sales engineer, solutions architect, or a comparable customer‑facing technical role within an enterprise‑technology environment.
- Proven ability to engage and present to both technical stakeholders (e.g., data scientists, architects) and executive leadership (e.g., CIOs, VPs).
- Hands‑on experience with big‑data ecosystems, machine‑learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn), and numerical programming languages (Python, MATLAB, R).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of building production‑grade machine‑learning solutions, including deep‑learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs) and custom model pipelines.
- Experience architecting scalable, distributed systems on cloud platforms, with a focus on performance, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data‑lake design, and big‑data trends (e.g., data‑mesh, real‑time analytics) as they apply to regulated industries like healthcare.
- Rapid learning agility—ability to master emerging technologies, cloud‑native services, and evolving AI methodologies.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Technical Acumen: Mastery of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless offerings.
- AI/ML Expertise: Proficiency in model development, hyperparameter tuning, model interpretability, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD for ML).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes, craft compelling presentations, and influence decision‑makers.
- Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical mindset to diagnose complex system interactions, propose innovative solutions, and iterate quickly.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams, building consensus, and driving initiatives forward in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑Centricity: A genuine passion for helping customers succeed, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and long‑term partnership.
