Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex is responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining critical data across multiple internal systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the information that powers flight schedules, passenger records, operational logistics, and regulatory reporting is flawless. Working from the comfort of your own home, you will partner with cross‑functional teams, uphold the highest standards of data integrity, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce error rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update a wide variety of data—including flight itineraries, crew assignments, customer contact details, and inventory records—into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party platforms.
  • Perform routine quality checks and data audits to verify completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to resolve data discrepancies and ensure seamless information flow.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information—including personal identification data and financial details—with the utmost discretion, adhering to GDPR, CCPA, and other data‑protection standards.
  • Assist in data cleanup projects, including de‑duplication, standardization, and migration activities, to support system upgrades and reporting enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, suggest workflow improvements, and contribute to the development of best‑practice documentation for data entry procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs of data entry activities, error resolutions, and corrective actions to support audit trails and performance metrics.
  • Provide timely support to internal teams during peak periods, such as holiday travel spikes or system migrations, ensuring data availability and accuracy.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry, information management, or a related field is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in data entry, data validation, or a comparable role within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data entry software, spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), and familiarity with database management tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of delivering error‑free work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, enabling you to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, essential for documenting processes and collaborating with remote teammates.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently, yet equally adept at contributing to a virtual team environment.
  • Commitment to data security, confidentiality, and compliance with all relevant privacy regulations.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with airline or travel‑industry software (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or similar reservation systems).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards.
  • Basic understanding of scripting or macro development (e.g., VBA, Python) to automate repetitive data tasks.
  • Prior involvement in process‑improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Ability to quickly learn new platforms and adapt to evolving technology stacks.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot inconsistencies, patterns, and anomalies in large data sets.
  • Reliability: Consistently meets deadlines and maintains a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Engages proactively with cross‑functional teams, sharing insights and supporting collective goals.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, remote work setting where priorities can shift rapidly.
  • Integrity: Upholds the highest ethical standards when handling confidential information.
