Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead cross‑functional teams in the design, simulation, and validation of advanced IC bundling solutions, including silicon floor‑plan, package format, and interconnect strategies.
• Process Development: Drive process improvements across thermal, mechanical, SI/PI, material, and reliability domains to meet performance, cost, and yield targets.
• Collaboration with OSAT Partners: Partner with external outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) providers to transition designs from prototype to high‑volume production, ensuring seamless technology transfer.
• Data Entry Excellence: Oversee the accurate entry, validation, and maintenance of critical engineering data (BOMs, layout rules, test results, etc.) that feed into arenaflex’s product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
• Project Ownership: Manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision, delivering milestones on schedule and within budget.
• Mentorship & Team Building: Coach junior engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and champion best practices in both design and data governance.
• Global Travel & Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct up to 10% travel worldwide to collaborate with manufacturing sites, supplier partners, and customer engineering teams.
• Documentation & Reporting: Produce clear technical documentation, design reviews, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (BS required).
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in semiconductor packaging, IC bundling design, or related process development.
• Deep understanding of cross‑functional bundling domains: silicon floor‑plan, package format, thermal management, mechanical reliability, SI/PI, and material science.
• Proven track record of delivering complex packaging solutions from concept to high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, with a talent for solving ambiguous engineering challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Experience with industry‑standard design tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys) and data management platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead projects with limited oversight.
