Position Overview

The RES PMO Task Director (Project Management Office Task Director) is a pivotal role within arenaflex’s Reservations division. Reporting to the RES Portfolio Leadership Council, you will lead high‑impact initiatives that drive operational excellence, strategic alignment, and measurable business value. This remote position blends strong project management expertise with a genuine enthusiasm for people, communication, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑value projects across the RES organization, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts, including charters, detailed schedules, risk & issue registers, and project repositories.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities, ensuring alignment with cross‑functional partners and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with the RES Portfolio Leadership Council to shape the operating model, establishing robust governance, performance metrics, and continuous‑improvement loops.
  • Design and implement communication frameworks that promote transparency, stakeholder engagement, and timely dissemination of project status.
  • Facilitate the creation of business cases, prioritization matrices, and portfolio‑level reporting to drive strategic decision‑making.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders, functional partners, and cross‑division teams to champion project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the RES PMO capability, fostering a Center of Excellence that embeds best practices, standards, and knowledge sharing across arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications (Must‑Have)

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, with a talent for turning ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and crafting concise executive summaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote, matrixed environment.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and, where required by law, proof of COVID‑19 vaccination.
