Joining arenaflex means becoming part of a forward‑thinking team that values innovation, collaboration, and the personal growth of each employee. Whether you are just starting your career or looking to deepen your expertise in data management, you will find a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, rewards initiative, and celebrates diversity.

Why This Role Matters

Data entry is the backbone of our information ecosystem. Every record you input, verify, and refine directly impacts the safety of patients, the efficiency of healthcare operations, and the credibility of our clients. As an Entry‑Level Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the data flowing through arenaflex’s FACIS database is flawless, reliable, and ready for downstream analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze incoming documents—such as provider licenses, certifications, and contracts—to extract relevant data points for entry into the FACIS database.
  • Conduct supplemental research when source documents are ambiguous, including contacting data authorities or subject‑matter experts for clarification.
  • Maintain clear, concise communication with managers, peers, and external stakeholders regarding data acquisition methods, transformation processes, and any issues encountered.
  • Document and articulate data transformation workflows so that they can be reproduced and audited by the broader team.
  • Take ownership of periodic and ad‑hoc projects, ranging from bulk data migrations to quality‑control audits, ensuring timely completion.
  • Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating self‑motivation and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Leverage available resources—knowledge bases, SOPs, and internal tools—before escalating queries, fostering a culture of independent learning.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established quality and efficiency benchmarks, delivering error‑free entries on schedule.
  • Manage the Data Entry queue, prioritizing tasks based on urgency, complexity, and business impact.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; a commitment to lifelong learning is highly valued.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Geographic Eligibility: Candidates must reside in one of the following states or districts: CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, ME, MD, MO, MI, NC, OH, OK, PA, UT, TN, WI, WA DC, VA.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills with demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, typographical errors, and data anomalies with a meticulous eye.
  • Critical Thinking: Capacity to evaluate information, ask clarifying questions, and make sound judgments about data validity.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across remote teams.
  • Reliability: Proven track record of meeting deadlines, delivering high‑quality work, and maintaining a consistent work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with provider credentialing or medical records, is a distinct advantage.
  • Prior data entry or data comparison experience, demonstrating familiarity with high‑volume, accuracy‑driven environments.
  • Exposure to database management tools or familiarity with data‑entry platforms similar to FACIS.
  • Experience working remotely in a distraction‑free home office, showcasing strong time‑management and self‑discipline.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Ownership & Initiative: Willingness to take charge of tasks, anticipate challenges, and propose improvements without waiting for direction.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work cohesively with cross‑functional teams, sharing knowledge and supporting collective goals.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner who can shift priorities in response to changing business needs while maintaining high standards.
  • Quality‑First Mindset: Commitment to delivering “right the first time,” conducting thorough self‑reviews before submission.
  • Process Testing: Comfort experimenting with new methods, documenting outcomes, and scaling successful approaches.
  • Problem‑Solving: Resourceful in troubleshooting data discrepancies, leveraging internal documentation before escalating.
