Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Analytics Data Scientist to join our Promoting Examination group based in Brooklyn, USA. This remote‑first position offers a competitive rate of $24 per hour and a full‑time schedule (8 hours per day). In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated marketing measurement frameworks that power arenaflex’s growth engine. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners in product, design, finance, and engineering to uncover insights, optimize campaigns, and drive measurable impact across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and refine core marketing measurement models—including attribution, churn, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), ROI, test‑and‑learn, and segmentation.
  • Transform raw data into clear, actionable analyses that inform strategic decisions for marketing partners, ensuring transparency, methodological rigor, and thorough documentation.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities by analyzing user behavior, funnel metrics, and market trends, translating findings into concrete recommendations for acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that surface key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing channels and campaigns, enabling stakeholders to monitor performance in real time.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance your analytical toolkit, sharing best practices, new techniques, and emerging technologies with the broader analytics community at arenaflex.
  • Mentor junior analysts and data engineers, establishing standards and processes that elevate the overall quality and efficiency of the analytics function.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and finance teams throughout the product lifecycle—from ideation and experimentation to launch and post‑launch analysis—ensuring data‑driven decision making at every stage.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging data science methodologies, and regulatory changes that could impact arenaflex’s data practices, proactively adapting strategies as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a data researcher, data scientist, or in a quantitative role where you extracted insight from large data sets with minimal guidance.
  • Hands‑on expertise with SQL and proficiency in either Python or R for statistical analysis, modeling, and data manipulation.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining marketing measurement systems, including channel attribution, churn modeling, and CLV calculations.
  • Strong communication skills—ability to articulate complex analytical concepts clearly in written reports, presentations, and informal discussions with cross‑functional partners.
  • Track record of leading initiatives, defining tools and standard operating procedures, and influencing the direction of analytics projects.
