Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Entry‑Level Data Entry Specialist to join the arenaflex family. In this role, you will be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring that every piece of information entered into our systems is accurate, timely, and secure. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including analytics, operations, and customer support—to maintain the quality of our master databases, support reporting initiatives, and help streamline internal workflows. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or career‑switchers who possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for organization, and a desire to grow within a dynamic, technology‑focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑volume data entry tasks with speed and precision, ensuring that all records are captured accurately in arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party database platforms.
  • Validate, cross‑check, and reconcile incoming data against source documents, flagging inconsistencies and correcting errors in real time.
  • Maintain and update master data files, including customer profiles, product inventories, transaction logs, and compliance records, following established data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business analysts to provide clean, well‑structured data sets that support reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Adhere strictly to arenaflex’s information security policies, handling confidential and sensitive data with the utmost discretion and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Participate in routine data quality audits, contributing to continuous improvement efforts that enhance accuracy, reduce duplication, and optimize data workflows.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry processes, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Provide timely support to internal stakeholders by retrieving, formatting, and delivering data extracts as requested, while maintaining a customer‑service mindset.
  • Engage in regular training sessions and knowledge‑sharing forums to stay current with emerging data tools, software updates, and best practices in data management.
  • Contribute ideas for automation opportunities, such as macro development or simple scripting, to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in office administration, information management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English, enabling clear communication and accurate documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot errors, maintain consistency, and uphold data integrity under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Foundations: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with web‑based data entry interfaces.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy (error rate below 2%).
  • Confidentiality: Proven track record of handling sensitive information responsibly, respecting privacy and security protocols.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet daily or weekly data entry targets.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role, especially within a fast‑paced corporate environment.
  • Exposure to data management tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts (tables, fields, primary keys) and the ability to navigate relational data structures.
  • Experience with data validation techniques, including drop‑down lists, conditional formatting, and lookup functions in Excel.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for secure data handling.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new software applications, with a willingness to undertake short‑term training on arenaflex’s proprietary systems.

Core Skills and Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data patterns, identify anomalies, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Communication: Clear, concise written communication for documenting processes and reporting issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams, sharing insights, and supporting colleagues.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to troubleshooting data discrepancies and improving workflow efficiency.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities, new tools, and shifting project timelines.
  • Technology Curiosity: Interest in emerging data technologies, automation, and digital transformation trends.

arenaflex invests heavily in the professional growth of its employees. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to a structured learning path that includes:

  • On‑boarding workshops that cover arenaflex’s data governance framework, security protocols, and software ecosystems.

  • Mentorship programs pairing you with senior data analysts who can guide your career trajectory and help you acquire new competencies.
  • Opportunities to transition into roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Associate, or Operations Coordinator after demonstrating proficiency and completing internal certification tracks.
  • Support for external certifications (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist, Certified Data Management Professional) through tuition reimbursement and study leave.
