Job Summary As a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, helping them understand their Medicare coverage options, and selecting the best solutions to meet their personal health and financial needs. You'll work closely with our team to identify additional needs and provide follow-up support to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service with a mostly inbound call model, responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening
  • Assist individuals in understanding their Medicare coverage options and selecting the best solutions to meet their personal health and financial needs
  • Identify additional needs customers may have and help them to upgrade products or services
  • Make outbound calls to provide follow-up support when needed
  • Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and other relevant regulations Qualifications
  • Current Health insurance license in your state of residence
  • High-speed internet access (>15 mbps)
  • Minimum six (6) months sales experience
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer savvy with experience in CRM software and other relevant tools Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish (eligible for a higher hourly rate)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Skills and Competencies
