Tes is a global Edtech leader, on a mission to empower schools and educators to deliver impactful, inspiring learning experiences worldwide. As a Junior Scrum Master, you will support Agile delivery within product teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes that positively impact education.

Responsibilities

  • Support the effective delivery of Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Help teams maintain a consistent and sustainable delivery cadence
  • Work with Product Owners and team members to ensure backlogs are clear, prioritised and ready for development
  • Track team progress using Agile tools and provide visibility of delivery through standard metrics
  • Identify and highlight any blockers or risks to delivery, escalating where appropriate
  • Support the team in driving continuous improvement by capturing and following up on retrospective actions
  • Encourage collaboration, accountability and a positive team culture aligned to Agile principles
  • Contribute to clear and transparent communication between teams and stakeholders

Skills

  • A good understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Scrum master for a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative approach to working
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
  • An interest in education and the impact technology can have in this space
  • A Scrum certification (CSM, PSM I), or a desire to work towards one
