Overview

Sempra Infrastructure is seeking a Contract Execution Specialist to support AI and Technology Procurement initiatives. This role will focus on contract drafting, execution, and vendor coordination, ensuring efficient movement of agreements through the procurement lifecycle. The position serves as a key liaison across procurement, legal, business stakeholders, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, format, and redline contracts, amendments, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Coordinate contract approvals and execution with legal, procurement, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Act as primary point of contact for vendor communication related to contract execution
  • Support sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs), including vendor outreach and evaluation tracking
  • Maintain contract repositories, documentation logs, and procurement records
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with procurement standards
  • Track contract status, sourcing milestones, and key procurement metrics
  • Generate reports and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Provide coverage during high-volume periods and team absences

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in:
  • Contract administration
  • Procurement / sourcing
  • Vendor management or contract lifecycle support
  • Experience supporting procurement for:
  • Software, AI, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or professional services
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial agreements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ariba or similar procurement systems
