Role: Senior Systems Integrator Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Required:

  • Must have experience in: Unisys LEMS/JX, .Net Core, MS SQL, XML
  • Knowledge of and experience in server-side scripting, preferably using Microsoft PowerShell or Perl.
  • Knowledge of and experience in installation, configuration, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and technical support of Microsoft servers supporting mission-critical, high availability information systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate, analyze, and solve complex technical problems in mission-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and use appropriate systems quality assurance and configuration management protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, plan, and manage projects as a technical lead that have high impact and complexity, involving significant changes to infrastructure or the implementation of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Define technical solutions for LEMS interfaces, including component definitions, task definitions, estimates of effort, skills required, and hardware/software requirements and make associated recommendations to supervisor.
  • Perform analysis, design, configuration, programming, testing, and implementation in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of interfaces between State's LEMS and other state, federal, and international criminal justice and public safety systems.
  • Install and maintain Unisys Law Enforcement Message Switch (LEMS)/JX and its components. Perform routine operational tasks, monitoring and responding to support requests and system alerts, and problem determination and resolution for LEMS on 24x7x365 basis, including coordination with IT owners of interfacing systems in local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with users, other IT stakeholders, IT stakeholders from other local, state, and federal agencies, and technology vendors for new and existing LEMS interfaces to assess needs, define interface functionality, and complete implementations.
  • Plan, guide, monitor, and ensure the quality of the work of other developers assigned to work on LEMS.
