Job Description: Regional Sales Executive – New York Department: Sales Position Title: Regional Sales Executive Reporting Line: Regional Sales Director Position Summary The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is responsible for driving adoption of diagnostic products to support clinicians diagnosing neurological disorders in New York State. This role involves delivering clinical and technical information to healthcare providers and their patients to achieve sales goals. The RSE collaborates closely with Sales, Clinical Services, and company leadership to ensure successful implementation and sustained use of products.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Market Development and Sales

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive New York territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate expertise in product knowledge, sales strategy, and business acumen.
  • Conduct clinical in-service trainings and educate healthcare providers on appropriate product use.
  • Communicate product value in the context of pricing, reimbursement, and regional healthcare dynamics.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in CRM systems, complete expense reports, and participate in required trainings.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and comply with company policies.
  • Target neurology practices specialising in movement disorders, cognitive impairment, autonomic dysfunction, sleep disorders, and general neurology.
  • Continuously enhance selling skills through in-person and digital engagement techniques.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and conduct educational programs to promote product adoption.
  • Utilise company resources, including marketing programs and Medical Affairs expertise, to support sales.

Collaboration on Account Management

  • Partner with Clinical Services to support post-implementation clinician needs.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts in collaboration with account managers.
  • Participate in joint sales and clinical meetings to assess account performance and KPIs.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and product loyalty.
  • Use Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools to track customer interactions, account activity, and retention.
  • Monitor changes in customer personnel, organisational structure, and practice patterns that may affect product use.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, including 3+ years in medical sales to clinicians.
  • Preferred experience in neurology or diagnostic sales, with existing New York neurology practice relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of territory management, customer relationship development, and medical technology sales.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and digital sales tools.
  • Knowledge of New York healthcare markets and clinician/patient dynamics.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Professional demeanor with integrity in all interactions.

Education & Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related field required.

Other Requirements

  • Frequent travel within New York State, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Periodic travel to industry conferences and company headquarters.
  • Combination of seated and standing work; up to 50% travel required.
