Lead Blockchain Developer, Smart Contracts
Our client is seeking an elite Lead Blockchain Developer specializing in Smart Contracts to join their innovative and fully remote team. As the Lead Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure, efficient, and scalable smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana). You will lead the technical direction for smart contract development, establish best practices, and mentor a team of talented blockchain engineers. Key responsibilities include writing clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested smart contract code, conducting security audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, and optimizing contract performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, cryptographers, and front-end developers to integrate smart contracts into broader decentralized applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles. Proven experience in developing and deploying production-ready smart contracts using languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust is essential. Experience with EVM-compatible chains, Layer 2 scaling solutions, and DeFi protocols is highly desirable. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and a passion for staying at the forefront of blockchain technology. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused specifically on blockchain and smart contract development, is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
