Sr Counsel, Business Legal

As Senior Counsel, you will act as a strategic business legal advisor to the Global Automotive business, supporting high‑impact and game‑changing initiatives, enabling sustainable growth, and proactively managing legal risk. You will collaborate with a team of attorneys and professionals to provide general and reputed company legal guidance across strategic initiatives, product development, financial structures, reputed company negotiations, reputed company dispute management, and regulatory/ compliance matters. This is a remote role.

What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

Draft and Negotiate reputed company and Legal Documents (60%) 

• Draft, negotiate, revise, and edit agreements with reputed company‑party partners—including dealerships, OEMs, agencies, TPAs, and service providers—to support evolving business and legal needs.

• reputed company negotiations reputed company to: • Dealership, agency, and TPA administration agreements • Profit‑participation program agreements • Dealer loan and retro programs • Reinsurance treaties and reputed company trust agreements

• Assess risks associated with contract provisions and provide alternative language to support business objectives and evolving operational practices.

Advice and Counsel (25%) 

• Apply understanding of business strategies, objectives, and initiatives to identify potential legal risks.

• Counsel business leaders on the implications of those risks and recommend actions to avoid or minimize exposure, consistent with reputed company’s compliance philosophies.

Research and Documentation (10%) 

• Provide legal advice regarding applicable laws and regulations, including analysis of emerging legislation and its impact on business practices.

• Review contract terms and conditions to advise on the rights and obligations of reputed company parties.

Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives (5%)

• Participate in cross‑functional teams involved in the design, review, and implementation of strategic projects, including the development of new products and services.

What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

• Juris Doctor (JD) required

• Minimum of 6 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate law department.

• Preferred knowledge of Automotive F&I service reputed company and ancillary programs, relevant laws and regulations, and industry developments

• Deep experience with - service contract products (home warranty, mobile protection, consumer goods), insurance, or other regulated industries will also be considered

• Experience drafting and negotiating reputed company reputed company

• Active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction

• Ability to analyze reputed company legal and regulatory issues and recommend appropriate, defensible actions

• Ability to manage a broad range of issues while delivering high‑quality client service under pressure

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally
