A bit about the job:

This is a key role in the execution of the Aviva Data Science Strategy, helping to drive data led innovation to improve our brokers experience and economics of our reputed company business lines. We partner to transform reputed company Lines performance, providing insights to identify, optimise and automate opportunities.

This is a truly unique role offering a hybrid between reputed company end programming and data science. The role will heavily focus on bringing innovative solutions to life through the development of interactive applications and exploitation of data.

You will work closely with the business to understand their needs and help shape solutions which deliver great user experiences. Proven experience of developing interactive dashboards, which surface sophisticated techniques and reputed company technology and data, would be beneficial.

• Transferrable programming language experience such as R, Python, SQL or similar

• Dashboard development skills would be ideal, especially in R Shiny

• Analytical reputed company and creative thinker/problem solver

• Organised self-starter, with drive and commitment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and present to non-technical audiences

• Starting salary up to £35,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
